Elegance at its finest.
I recently bought this base coat as my previous one had began to run out. I thought I'd try something new with their rubber range and i'm glad to say I was very impressed!
The wash of color is buildable and perfect on its own or as a base for nail art. As well as this, it suits my Punjabi skin tone so beautifully. Its my perfect nude and can confidently say I will be using it as an everyday polish.
The application was suprisingly easy, I really like how it provides support to my nails without the thickness or hardness that a builder gel provides. As well as being easy to apply, it was also very time efficient, by introducing the color to the nail through the base coat, I skipped the 2-3 color coats I would have normally done.
One of the most impressive features was the round brush, I'm unsure if all their polishes have switched to this type of brush as my previous order was last year however the new shape was amazing. It was so easy to get right up to the cuticle and apply perfect even coats.
With the photos provided I have used two coats of the base coat and one coat of the top coat.

Great pinky/nude
Lovely colour, very natural and a great base for accent colours/nail art. Requires 3 coats rather than 2 for best coverage. A pink based nude like in the picture with a slight white cast.

Beautiful
Such a beautiful, natural shade. When it grows out, you can barely tell that there’s a difference between my natural nail and the base coat. I wear it by itself and as a base for designs. It’s hard, long lasting, has never chipped on me, buildable for repairing broken nails or cracks and all round, just 10/10.

We are so sorry the Nude Rubber Base was misleading for you. The Nude Rubber Base coverage is described under the product description on our website as 'Sheer with nude tint'. Are you able to send us a photo to info@gelous.co so we can see. The Rubber Base and Top Coat's are a thicker consistency compared to our Regular Base Coat and Top Coat. The Rubber Base and Top provide a thicker layer to your manicure, to add strength and flexibility. If you're new to this product and finding the consistency hard to work with you can try running your closed Gel Nail Polish bottle under hot water to heat up the polish. After a minute or two under the hot water, roll the bottle between your hands. Be careful because the bottle can get very hot. Repeat this process until your polish is a good consistency and it should be easier to apply.
